M.D. Anderson Cancer Center

MD Anderson Cancer Center would like to thank C&H Rigging for the work recently completed for the Cord Blood Bank (CBB).   C&H Rigging was outstanding from the conception, design, and construction of the superstructure used to transport the BioArchive’s (BA) to the placement of the last BA at CBB’s new facility.   MDACC-CBB cannot thank C&H Rigging enough for their professionalism and expertise.

Special thanks to the on-site crew from C&H Rigging:

  • ·         Mr. Jerry Perry
  • ·         Mr. Andy McCoy
  • ·         Mr. Clay Stainslaw
  • ·         Mr. Rufus Harrison
  • ·         Mr. Andrew Crump
  • ·         Mr. Jerry Wright

For the most recent moves, MDACC-CBB and C&H Rigging lifted and transported ~17,750 irreplaceable clinical units in a total of 7 BA’s.   These units are the core existence for the CBB and are helping save lives around the world.    Altogether C&H Rigging has moved 12 BA’s for MDACC-CBB with complete success!

Thermogenesis, the manufacturer and service provider of the BA’s, commented on several recent occasions, and during past C&H BA moves, that they have never been part of such a successful process.   After validation of the BA’s on P14 (5 previously) and at the new facility (7 most recently), not one of the clinical units was dislodge or slightly ajar within the BA’s.  The majority of this success is due to C&H Rigging and their level of detail, planning, and care placed on each individual lift and subsequent move.

MDACC-CBB look forward to having C&H Rigging as a core member of the team for any future move.

Tallowood Baptist Church

C&H Rigging completed its largest Organ Project. It is one of our proudest moments when we can help the community. C&H Rigging started by constructing several types of Scaffolds so our riggers could mount forty foot pipes to the walls of the church. We then installed over three hundred pipes, various sizes and weights inside the walls using a multiple snatch block system to hoist them into their location.
